Murder Mystery 2 is still a fantastic social game. The core loop of hiding or hunting keeps every round incredibly tense. However, the pacing can get a bit boring when you die early and have to spend minutes mindlessly waiting around for long rounds to finally end. This downtime is made worse by toxic teamers who stretch out matches by refusing to attack each other, alongside occasional hackers who exploit the map. Despite these slow moments and community flaws, finding a clean server makes the gameplay shine. The knife trading and fast loops make it a legendary classic best enjoyed with a group of friends.
